How to Calculate (Step-by-Step)

  1. Write your birth date as numbers (MM/DD/YYYY). Example: 07/16/1981.
  2. Add all digits: 0+7+1+6+1+9+8+1 = 33.
  3. If the total is a master number (11, 22, 33), you can keep it. Otherwise reduce to a single digit: 33 → 3+3 = 6.

Some traditions “fully reduce” the month, day, and year first, then sum those results. Our calculator lets you choose either approach.
